It is still hard to get a good photo with all the white of the paper showing. I started adding just the first tiny bits of colour. Unfortunately, I won't have time to do more for about a week. I decided to start by adding some blue to the areas that will be water so I can keep them the focus as I paint the rest. I also added the first layer in the cut-away ground areas. I am going to paint all the thousands of trees next starting in the distance and getting bigger as I come forward. The first tree line has been added at the top. There will be clouds at that end in the sky as well and they will have to go on even before the trees.
